Join a selection of Kangaroo Island's top food producers at the Penneshaw Farmers market. Purchase a range of fresh local produce from the very people who grow, farm or make it. Tastings, breakfast, coffee and a great village atmosphere are all on offer, so be sure to make a morning out of it.

Located at a collectio of idyllic seaside settings around the island, you can choose between fine dining tasting menus, campfire cooking and seafood barbeques by the sea. Other dining events include master class demonstrations, and exclusive dinners with celebrity chefs. An island festival that connects visitors to the Kangaroo Island personality and community through the celebration of fine seafood local produce, location and conversation.

The 10 day Art Feast celebrates the art, food and wine of Kangaroo Island. It is a venue-based festival and each venue must exhibit art and is encouraged to also offer food and wine or spirits. Artists, chefs and winemakers are Kangaroo Islanders or have a strong connection to the Island, and Kangaroo Island produce is central to the culinary experience during Art Feast.

Kangaroo Island comes alive over the Coopers Kangaroo Island Cup Carnival weekend held at the beautiful Cygnet River Race Course, a few kilometres from Kingscote. This country racecourse is transformed at this time of the year with trackside marquees, colourful signs and flags and a party atmosphere. More and more people are making a long weekend of it and enjoying the carnival atmosphere of the Coopers Kangaroo Island Cup.
